Why Choose a Cream TV Bed?

A cream TV bed gives you a cinema-style bedroom without a dark, heavy frame.

  • Makes the room feel bigger. Light fabric reflects daylight, so a large bed looks less bulky in a small room.
  • Hides the tech. With the TV down, the footboard blends into a neutral scheme. Nobody can tell there's a screen inside.
  • Matches almost anything. Cream sits well next to oak, walnut, grey, black or brushed gold furniture.
  • Easy to restyle. Change the look with new bedding and cushions instead of a new bed.

Cream, Beige or Ivory: Choosing Your Shade

Light neutrals look similar online but behave differently in a room.

  • Cream has a warm, yellow undertone. It feels cosy and suits north-facing rooms that get cooler light.
  • Beige is a little darker, with a sandy or grey undertone. A TV bed in beige hides everyday marks better than cream and pairs well with wood floors.
  • Ivory is the lightest, close to white with a soft warmth. It looks crisp and bright in sunny, south-facing rooms.

The fabric changes the shade too. Plush velvet catches the light, so cream looks richer and slightly darker in its folds. Bouclé has a matte, textured finish that keeps the colour soft and even.

Looking for a TV bed in cream but unsure which tone suits your room? Hold a fabric sample against your walls in daylight and lamp light before you order.

TV Sizes and How the Lift Works

An electric lift sits inside the footboard. Press the remote and the TV rises to viewing height in seconds. Press again and it lowers out of sight, with the cables hidden inside the frame.

Each bed fits a set screen size, from 32” up to 65” depending on the model and bed size. Check the maximum TV size on the product page before you order.

To check your TV fits:

  1. Remove the TV stand.
  2. Measure the width, height and depth of the screen itself.
  3. Compare these with the TV compartment size on the product page.

Shop by screen size: 43" TV beds, 50" TV beds or 55" TV beds.

Cream TV Beds With Ottoman Storage

Most of our cream TV beds let you choose the base when you order:

  • Gas-lift ottoman base. The mattress platform lifts on gas struts to reveal storage under the whole bed. It's ideal for spare duvets, winter clothes and suitcases.
  • Divan ottoman base. A solid upholstered base with lift-up storage, for a neater, boxier look.
  • Slatted base. No storage, but good airflow under the mattress and a lighter frame.

The TV lift and the storage base work separately, so you can open one without moving the other. See more gas lift ottoman beds.

Cream TV Bed Sizes

Our cream TV beds come in four UK sizes. Sizes below are for the mattress; the upholstered frame is wider and longer.

  • Small double (4ft): 120 × 190 cm. Suits a guest room, a teenager or a smaller main bedroom.
  • Double (4ft6): 135 × 190 cm. The most popular size for couples in an average bedroom.
  • King size (5ft): 150 × 200 cm. More room for two, and space for a larger screen in the footboard.
  • Super king (6ft): 180 × 200 cm. Best for large main bedrooms and the biggest TVs in the range.

Leave at least [60] cm at the foot of the bed so you can walk past when the TV is raised.

Keeping a Cream TV Bed Looking New

Cream shows marks more than darker shades, but a few simple habits keep it fresh:

  • Vacuum weekly with a soft brush attachment to lift dust before it settles into the fabric.
  • Blot spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth. Don't rub, as this spreads the stain.
  • Watch out for dye transfer. New dark jeans and bright throws can stain pale fabric.
  • Brush plush velvet gently in one direction to lift pressure marks where you've leaned against it.
  • Keep it out of strong direct sunlight, which can fade light fabrics over time.

Cream Bed FAQs

What colour bedding goes with a cream TV bed?

White, sage, terracotta and navy all work well. White keeps the look light, while deeper colours add contrast.

It shows marks more than a dark bed, but weekly vacuuming and blotting spills quickly keep it clean. Beige and bouclé finishes hide everyday marks better than smooth cream velvet.

Cream suits rooms that need brightening, while beige is more practical for busy bedrooms. Beige hides marks better and works well with wooden floors.
